About Us
Based in Pennsylvania · Serving clients nationwide. Pennsylvania is home base — we also partner with small businesses outside the state when the fit is right.
Backwoods Web Solutions is a Pennsylvania-based, owner-led studio. We believe great web work doesn't require a big-city agency — it requires clear communication, modern craft, and a site built around how your customers actually buy. Most of our clients are in Pennsylvania, and we gladly work with businesses outside the state too.
We partner with small businesses and organizations that need to look established online, get found, and make it easy for customers to reach them. When templates and off-the-shelf tools fall short, we build custom.
You work directly with Carl Calhoun from first conversation through launch — no account managers, no junior handoffs, no mystery process.
